Position: Software Developer

JOB DUTIES

Implement REST Microservices using Spring boot framework, Spring batch for Archiving DB. Model JSON data from database and code request handlers for parsing and sending relevant data to client side. Implement security to the application using oauth 2.0 and spring security. Use Kafka for event processing. Use Postman, JUnit, Mockito for Unit testing. Writing Unit test cases using Spring Framework. Involve in implementing the Swagger API for each Microservice. Working on improving the code coverage. Involve in doing the build runs using Jenkin’s pipeline. Develop Java API to connect AWS S3 services to store and retrieve data stored in S3bucket. Working on fixing the defects raised from stage/Prod. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or closely related field with Twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or Software Engineer or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Experience of Twelve (12) months of working with Java and Spring is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated. Employer provides Information technology services to various clients in USA and hence implementing projects will require such travel.
